The cost for the trip is $60.00, which covers your bus transportation, coffee and donuts in the morning, and your lift ticket. A 2-day Telemark Enhancement Seminar has been scheduled at Hidden Valley for January 20th and 21st. The cost is $65, which covers the cost of a Level 3 PSIA Tele Instructor and lunches. You must be at least a novice tele skier to participate, but this will be a low pressure event designed to improve the skills of any patroller. The NJ Region will be hosting a Women's Skier Enhancement Seminar at Belleayre Mountain in NY. Yes, we are going out of region! The Eastern Division is encouraging more patrollers to advance their skills to the Senior level and, in that spirit, I arranged for a seminar at a reasonably close area with reliable Senior level terrain and bumps. PSIA examiners will be working with us. I am still working on the cost, but expect it to be in the neighborhood of $25. This is the 4th year this is held and it is a great clinic to attend as the terrain and instructors can handle patrollers of any level. This clinic qualifies as electives toward senior. The first class is Tuesday, September 5, 2006, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Subsequent classes will be on every Monday night (beginning on September 11, 2006). Classes will start at 7:00 PM and end around 10:00 PM. The final class will be December 4, 2006, and the practical exam will be December 9, 2006.
